CDC Partnership
The Walker School has had an ongoing partnership with the Centers for Disease Control for 10 years. The Walker Science Department visits the CDC for a field trip, and speakers come to campus to speak to the students.
In addition, students have an opportunity to apply for CDC internships to get an early glimpse into the healthcare field. The Walker School has two PhD candidates in public health and four MPHs. The photos below represent a field trip to the CDC and an on-campus speaker.
