The Walker School Association (WSA) is a parent volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the overall experience at Walker for faculty, students and families.
You are a member of the WSA from the moment you enroll at Walker. The WSA works to strengthen parent involvement at school through volunteer programs and activities that support and enrich the parent, faculty and student connection. There are many opportunities to volunteer and varying levels of time commitments to accommodate your schedule. Opportunities include hosting Faculty/Staff Appreciation Lunches or helping organize events like the Fall Parent Party, Homecoming Fall Festival, and Secret Shop. The WSA also oversees the Parent Ambassador program and hosts grade- and division-level parent education and social events.

SECRET
SHOP
Secret Shop is a holiday store organized by The Walker School Association. The store features the same merchandise as seen in many boutique gift shops across metro Atlanta. Our parent volunteer team purchases QUALITY merchandise at WHOLESALE prices and the savings are passed on to you! On your child’s shopping day, he/she will return home with a bundle of wrapped gifts, pride in his/her purchases, a quick lesson on budgets and a great big SECRET!
ANNUAL
AUCTION
The Annual Auction is The Walker School Association’s largest fundraiser. As in previous years, the auction is online. All items will be available to take home from the Spring Soirée. We encourage your participation at any level, whether it’s donating auction items, active bidding, attending the party, or all three! You can volunteer time, talent and treasures! Please know your support truly makes a difference in our community.
SPRING
SORIEE
This annual Spring Soirée is an opportunity for parents to celebrate a great year at Walker with friends and family. The event includes dinner, dancing, music and entertainment. The 2024 event took place at the Marietta Country Club and the theme was “Sequins and Sneakers.” All proceeds benefit The Walker School.
FALL
FESTIVAL
The Fall Festival is a free community event hosted by The Walker School Association on the Friday of Homecoming. We have bounce houses, carnival games, obstacle courses, arts and crafts, a dunk tank, and lots of fun photo opportunities.

Celebrate the first day of school and join all parents for coffee and bagels in the 815 parking lot after dropping off your students in carpool.
