The Georgia Private School Tax Credit Program makes an extraordinary impact on our student body, providing financial aid for highly qualified students with significant financial need.
Through the program, state residents, S- and C-corporations, LLCs, partnerships and trusts can redirect a portion of their Georgia tax liability to a Student Scholarship Organization (SSO) in support of financial aid at one or more independent schools of the taxpayer’s choice. When you participate through Georgia GOAL (Walker’s SSO of choice), you receive a 100 percent dollar-for-dollar tax credit to your state income tax bill for the amount of your contribution.
PRIVATE SCHOOL TAX CREDIT FAQ
GEORGIA GOAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
In exchange for contributions to Georgia GOAL, our partner Student Scholarship Organization, taxpayers receive a 100 percent state income tax credit!
The Georgia legislature has nearly doubled the available credits, alleviating the ‘oversubscription’ problem of past years.
This is a proven opportunity that is a win-win-win for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, and our school community. By simply contributing to Georgia GOAL for a 100 percent Georgia income tax credit, you will help maximize this source of financial aid for deserving families desiring to receive a Walker education.
You have the opportunity to make this our school’s best year yet in raising GOAL funds!
